Tucker Carlson opened his Fox News show on Tuesday by pointing out that America should be grateful for freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and her relentless attacks on America despite all that it has given her family, which came as refugees from Somolia in the 1990s.
After explaining Omar’s personal and family history, in which her father was able to provide for his family because of U.S. prosperity and abundance and Omar was able to go to college and become a citizen, Carlson pointed out that her hatred of America shows how our immigration system is broken.
“Be grateful for Ilhan Omar, annoying as she is,” Carlson said. “She’s a living fire alarm, a warning to the rest of us. We better change our immigration system immediately, or else.” Like ancient Rome, Carlson said, America will not be able to survive being flooded with immigrants that don’t assimilate.
Omar said in a 2017 op-ed that Americans “must confront that our nation was founded by the genocide of indigenous people and on the backs of slaves, that we maintain global power with the tenor of neocolonialism.”
Omar has now called for a boycott of Carlson’s show, which is one of the highest-rated on Fox News. It’s extremely sad that she hates this country so much after America saved her life and made her dreams come true.
