Another enemy of President Trump’s was just hauled into court and is facing years in prison for a nasty crime. What he did before the judge is despicable.
Anti-Trump actor Jussie Smollett, who faked a hate crime against himself and tried to blame Trump supporters, sat silently in court while his attorneys pled ‘not guilty’ to all charges. Yet he had a lot to say when he thought this would help his career.
Smollett is nothing more than an overpaid TV actor with a victim complex the size of his ego. But Smollett’s actions have exposed the truth — Trump supporters are peaceful, patriotic Americans, so he had to fake an attack to get headlines instead.
It all started in late January when Smollett reported to police that he had been brutally assaulted. At the time, Chicago police called it “a possible racially-charged assault and battery,” and Hollywood immediately ran to the actor’s defense.
Lee Daniels, co-creator of the show Empire, which Smollett worked on, released a passionate video about the alleged incident based upon an early report. “You didn’t deserve, nor anyone deserves, to have a noose put around your neck,” Daniels said.
He continued: “You are better than that. We are better than that. America is better than that. … Hold your head up, Jussie. I’m with you, I’ll be there in a minute. It’s just another f****** day in America.”
From there, it all went downhill for Smollett. He was soon arrested. Pouring through records, police even discovered “the receipt from the purchase of the rope” and “the investigation shifted from a Hate Crime to a Disorderly Conduct investigation.”
