At his first campaign rally following his vindication by the Russia collusion probe report, President Trump brought down the house with four simple words, “Buy American” and “hire American.”
The sold-out event in Grand Rapids, Michigan overflowed with cheering supporters as Trump gave a strong conservative message aimed at connecting with and inspiring his base.
“We believe in religious liberty, the right to free speech and the right to keep and bear arms,” Trump said, hitting all the pertinent Constitutional notes.
Expanding on his famous “Make America Great Again” slogan, the President gave a broad brush outline of his vision for his next term.
“We will make America wealthy again. We will make America strong again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again.”
Trump also took jibes at the collusion probe, noting that in spite of the “phony” and “corrupt” investigation, “we’ve done more together in the first two years than any administration in the history of our country.”
