President Donald Trump just unveiled a new plan that has ruined Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s week and driven a stake through a major part of the Democratic Party’s radical, anti-American agenda. Liberals are furious.
Trump laid it all out in an interview this week. “I don’t want to have anyone coming in that’s on welfare,” he said. Under this ‘public charge’ rule, an immigrant must show they are not “likely to become a public charge.”
According to a recent report by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), “63 percent of households headed by a non-citizen reported that they used at least one welfare program, compared to 35 percent of native-headed households.”
Additionally, CIS further documented in their report, “Of households headed by non-citizens in the United States for fewer than 10 years, 50 percent use one or more welfare programs; for those here more than 10 years, the rate is 70 percent.”
Trump continued: “We have a problem, because we have politicians that are not strong, or they have bad intentions, or they want to get votes, because they think if they come in they’re going to vote Democrat, you know, for the most part.”
This brings up an important point. The reason why Democrats and liberal Republicans want open borders and a welfare system for non-citizens is simple: They want to eventually turn these people into voters. It’s a vote-buying scheme that needs to end.
