President Trump just launched a series of massive airstrikes — there are dead bodies everyone. America’s enemies stood no chance.
Bombing yet another ISIS stronghold — this one known as “ISIS Island” in Iraq — the United States, along with coalition forces, dropped an estimated 80,000 pounds of bombs on the island of Qanus along the Tigris River.
The campaign, part of Operation Inherent Resolve, was meant to take out as many ISIS militants as possible and also destroy a crucial transportation hub. It appears to have succeeded completely.
Maj. Gen. Eric Hill said, “We’re setting the conditions for our partner forces to continue bringing stability to the region.” Dramatic video of the strike was posted on Twitter by the operation’s spokesperson, Col. Myles Caggins III.
In the video, you can witness a steady barrage of bombs hitting the island in surgical fashion — it is visual confirmation that any terrorists hunkered down there had a very bad day.
From the beginning of his presidency, Trump has vowed to wipe ISIS from the face of the Earth, and he continues to make good on that promise. Terrorists have nowhere to hide.
