President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has been caught in a sad and horrifying photograph as he walks the streets of New York City.
Snapped on the day of Michael Cohen’s Wednesday testimony, the photo shows Trump Jr. heading to Trump Tower for work looking downcast and holding an energy drink; he is wearing a full beard and dressed-down in khaki pants.
Cohen has spent part of this week on Capitol Hill speaking against President Trump and his family. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said, “It’s laughable that anyone would take a convicted liar like Cohen at his word,” skewering Congress for inviting Cohen to testify.
However, the stress of this entire debacle hasn’t prevented any Trump allies, including Trump Jr., from making sure the truth is known. He called out Cohen multiple times on Twitter the same day he was captured in the aforementioned photo.
“Michael Cohen begged to work at the White House and everyone knows it,” tweeted Trump Jr. “And that’s what this is all about,” he continued. “Cohen just wants to be famous. He always wanted his own TV show … and when he couldn’t get it one way he had to try another.”
Eric Trump took aim at the entire Democratic Party in his tweet. “It is a national disgrace that on the eve of historic peace talks between the USA & North Korea, the Democrats in the House orchestrate this clownshow.”
