Avowed Trump-hater Sarah Silverman has lost a movie role because of a comedy sketch she did in blackface in 2007. Silverman talked about the experience on the Bill Simmons podcast last week.
“I recently was going to do a movie, a sweet part,” she said on the podcast. “Then, at 11 p.m. the night before, they fired me because they saw a picture of me in blackface from that episode.”
Silverman said she didn’t fight the decision and that her replacement was “wonderful,” but was “someone who has never stuck her neck out.”
The comedian and actor also said that she had devoted her life to making right her action to wear blackface and that she was sad that she had not been able to do so.
How many times will political correctness run amuck have to come back to bite liberals before they adopt some common sense about these things?
