President Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee raised a combined $105 million in the second quarter of 2019, shattering records and surpassing President Barack Obama’s re-election fundraising efforts for the same time period by tens of millions of dollars, the Washington Times reported.
Trump raised $54 million and the RNC raised $51 million. “No Democrat candidate can match this level of enthusiasm,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said, calling the effort a “massive” success.
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the committee has been able to identify many new supporters with the fundraising efforts.
During the same three months in 2011, Obama and the DNC raised $85 million.
The mainstream media wants the public to think that the majority of people hate Trump and that he doesn’t have much support. But between rising poll numbers and people putting their money where their mouth is, discerning citizens can see through the media’s spin.
