A shocking notice was just issued about a threat against President Trump. He could be attacked at any moment, and the Secret Service is on high alert.
Far-left actor Jeff Daniels, best known for his role in the 1994 comedy ‘Dumb and Dumber’ with Jim Carrey, proved that maybe his movie wasn’t fiction after all. “We need someone that can … punch him in the face,” said Daniels of Trump.
He was being interviewed on CBS by Stephen Colbert when he made this remark. Colbert and Daniels were discussing the 2020 presidential election and their desire to see Trump defeated in his re-election bid.
Now, while Daniels was speaking metaphorically about Trump getting punched in the face — he was referring to wanting a candidate who can defeat the president — this kind of joking is entirely unacceptable.
What if someone said the same exact thing about Barack Obama during his presidency? Democrats and the mainstream media would be warning against the “violent rhetoric” that could lead to Obama actually getting hurt.
However, since it’s Trump we’re talking about, liberals and media allies are completely silent — many even condone this behavior. Daniels has also insinuated that Trump’s supporters are racist and the GOP continues to “tap the race button” to get votes.
