Conservative superstar Trey Gowdy, South Carolina’s former congressman, just made the call and President Trump’s enemies are furious. Gowdy didn’t hold back.
Appearing on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, Gowdy encouraged those investigating the Trump-Russia witch-hunt “to look for emails between Brennan and Comey in December 2016.”
Gowdy was, of course, referring to former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan, two central figures in the effort to take down Trump before he even became president.
As a former ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, his suggestion should be strongly considered. Gowdy is a straight-shooting, patriotic American, who wants to see justice like the rest of us.
Gowdy also took aim specifically at the highly suspicious ‘Steele dossier’ used by the Obama Administration to justify spying on Trump’s campaign, an initiative Comey and Brennan fully supported.
