Fox News contributor Lawrence Jones was taunted with racial slurs at an “Impeach Trump” rally over the weekend. The editor-in-chief of Campus Reform was trying to interview protesters when two of them began to harass him.
A Fox News producer at the scene said that two men walked up to Jones near the end of the rally and ne told him to go back to Fox News “where there’s more cotton for you to pick.” The producer asked the protester if he was really going to say that, and the man said “I sure am.” The protester then turned away from the camera and made an obscene gesture to Jones.
“He’ll tell you to go back to Kenya next,” the other protester told Jones. There were several “Impeach Trump” rallies held around the country over the weekend.
Jones told Sean Hannity on Monday night that the men were “upset and fearful” that Campus Reform continued to expose Democrats’ failed policies that were keeping minorities dependent on government.
“They believe that all black people need to think the same way. They want us to stay on the welfare system so we can’t progress in life and I’m going to expose it every single day,” Jones said. “If they think I’m going to stand down because they yelled obscene things to me, they got another thing coming.”
