A high-ranking Democrat just suddenly resigned. It is the end of an era, and all signs point to corruption being the cause. You won’t see this story widely reported in the mainstream media.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, an anti-Trump Democrat, has accepted the resignation of Human Services Commissioner Tony Lourey amidst controversy within the agency “for its handling of alleged fraud, data breaches and other administrative problems.”
Lourey’s two chiefs have also resigned, which suddenly left vacancies in the top three spots at the Minnesota Department of Human Services. They did not give detailed reasons for their departure.
Lourey said that “a new leader is necessary to best execute your vision for human services,” but he refused to elaborate. Gov. Walz attempted to put a positive spin on the events by saying that “this is the time for a different leadership style.”
