House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, a key player in the Democratic backlash against Attorney General Bill Barr, had a health scare Friday in New York City.
While speaking at a Manhattan press conference, the 71-year-old congressman collapsed and appeared to faint.
Nadler was then given a glass of water and taken away in an ambulance.
Afterward, Nadler’s office clarified that he did not faint, but merely felt ill.
“Appreciate everyone’s concern. Was very warm in the room this morning, was obviously dehydrated and felt a bit ill,” Nadler tweeted.
“Glad to receive fluids and am feeling much better.”
