The end is finally here. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has walked away from everything. President Trump was right all along.
According to Hunter Biden’s attorney, George Mesires, he plans on stepping down from the Chinese-backed private equity firm by the end of the month. Trump recently identified Hunter’s connection to this company as problematic.
It should come as no surprise, then, that the Bidens want to make this story go away. “Hunter intends to resign from the BHR board of directors on or by October 31, 2019,” wrote Mesires.
Hunter’s attorney also took the opportunity to criticize Trump. “He never anticipated the barrage of false charges against both him and his father by the President of the United States,” he wrote, attempting to shift the blame.
However, Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, has written that Trump’s recent skepticism about Hunter Biden’s work — no to mention the media largely ignoring it — shouldn’t be dismissed.
“For news shows on MSNBC, CNN and other cable networks, nothing is more disgusting than the mention of what Hunter Biden actually was doing in Ukraine,” wrote Turley for The Hill.
