Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) called again on Thursday for legislation to make Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and other drug lords to pay for President Donald Trump’s planned border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, the Hill reported.

Cruz admits that finding the assets won’t be easy, but said the Justice Department would be tasked with doing so under the legislation.
Cruz said that Trump is enthusiastic about the legislation. Whether it can get through the Democrat-controlled House, however, is another story.
