A major poll in New York just stunned the mainstream media. President Trump is smiling and liberals can’t believe it. This is incredible.
According to a statewide poll conducted by Siena College, Trump is viewed more favorably than presidential candidate and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Let’s see Democrats try to make sense of this one.
In fact, revealed that de Blasio only has a 26-percent favorability rating across the state compared to Trump’s 35-percent favorability rating. That’s a nine-point spread — something that cannot be ignored.
Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said, “Perhaps Trump can take some solace in the fact that as unpopular as he is in his home state, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is even more unpopular.”
Mayor de Blasio has made his anti-Trump stance a pillar of his campaign, criticizing the president whenever he gets the chance. He’s also a self-professed socialist. Neither of these things has seemed to help his fledgling campaign.
In due time, de Blasio will drop his presidential bid, eventually lose re-election for New York City major, and then perhaps become a commentator for MSNBC. Trump, on the other hand, will be president for another four years.
