A bombshell story just dropped. The U.S. Supreme Court has been rocked, and it’s over one of President Trump’s major plans. The White House is bracing for a decision at any moment.
The far-left Sierra Club is fighting to stop Trump’s promised wall on our souther border. “If a stay is granted and wall construction begins, there will be no turning back,” said the group and its liberal allies.
Recently, a lower court halted the transfer of $2.5 billion in Pentagon funds for building the wall, however, the Trump Administration has asked the Supreme Court to stay (i.e. halt) the ruling and allow construction to move forward.
The House of Represententives, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, filed a brief in support of the Sierra Club’s effort to keep construction of the wall delayed into the matter of fully ligitated.
“Congress appropriated only $1.375 billion for the construction of a border wall. Thus, the administration may constitutionally spend only that amount on such construction,” said House Democrats.
But the goal of radical environmentalists and Democrats to obstruct Trump at every turn may fail. Building the wall is a national security issue and, therefore, it’s appropriate for him to reallocate funds from the Pentagon to this project.
