In the wake of Sunday’s tragic massacre in Las Vegas, there’s one fact that is a shocking reminder that gun control doesn’t prevent firearm deaths: Chicago sees close to the same number of firearm-related homicides each and every month.
Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. What liberals fail to realize is that gun regulations mean nothing to criminals.
Criminals will find guns if they want guns and will use illegal channels to get them. New laws only affect those of us that aren’t criminals. Clearly regulation isn’t the answer. When will politicians learn? (Read More…)
Authorities have found that Stephen Paddock, who shot and killed over 50 people at a country music concert in Las Vegas, wired $100,000 to an account that he held in the Philippines just before to the shooting occurred.
The Philippines is the original home of Marilou Danley, Paddock’s live-in girlfriend who left the U.S. just days before the massacre, on a flight paid for by Paddock. Paddock’s connection to the Philippines raises the possibility of a potential interaction with Islamic terrorist groups that are powerful in that country.
Let’s all hope that as new information is gathered, it can help prevent another tragedy like this one. (Read More…)
This week, Holder’s National Redistricting Foundation accused Republicans in Georgia of disregarding the Voting Rights Act and using gerrymandering to discriminate against black voters.
Under the umbrella of “fairness,” Holder and his group seek to carve out Democratic strongholds in Texas, Georgia, and other primarily Republican states in the Deep South.
Many of the districts being targeted by Holder’s group have large African-American and/or Hispanic populations. These are some of the most reliable Democratic voters in the country, and by sectioning them off into powerful blocs, Holder plans to weaken Republican power in the House and Senate.
Let’s hope the federal judges who hear this case will see exactly what Holder is doing: accusing the right of racism, and then attempting to use voters’ race to their advantage; And that is, well — racist. (Read More…)
Last Thursday, before the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears played, broadcaster Todd Piro asked fans what their opinion of the protests.
The vast majority of fans said that they supported the flag over the players. One fan summed up her feelings by saying: “I kneel for the Lord and I stand for the flag.” Well said. (Watch Here…)

A leaked photograph has been released to the media, and it purportedly shows a note on a small table in shooter Stephen Paddock’s hotel room.
In the wake of the massacre that killed at least 59 people and wounded more than 500 concertgoers, everyone is still trying to figure out Paddock’s motive. Could that note hold an answer to the mystery that is plaguing a nation? I hope so. See the photo here. (See Photo…)
Although House, Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) has consistently claimed to be pro-life, the news that he pressured a woman with whom he had an affair to get an abortion exposes him as a hypocrite and a sleazeball.
The anonymous woman shared with reporters the message she sent Murphy: “And you have zero issue posting your pro-life stance all over the place when you had no issue asking me to abort our unborn child just last week when we thought that was one of the options.”
This is sure to enrage many of his constituents that voted for him based on his “pro-life” stance. One silver lining in this disgusting story: as Murphy’s support dwindles, it will open the door for fresh new conservative candidates to emerge. Through his own vile acts, Murphy may be doing his part in draining the swamp, starting with himself. (Read More…)
Famed director and liberal darling Roman Polanski admitted that he raped a 13-year-old girl in 1978 — and later fled prosecution by U.S. authorities while on bail awaiting trial.
He was granted sanctuary in Europe and now wants to return to the US. But he feels no remorse for his crime; he believes he’s paid his debt to society.
In addition, Polanski is now facing yet another claim that he sexually abused a teen in Europe. This guy is sick and has run from his crimes for years. He should be handed over to the authorities and extradited to the U.S. to pay for his sickening crimes. He raped children and ran from the law. Lock him up for life. (Read More…)
