A sworn statement by former Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Slokin may inensify the investigation into former Vice President and current 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Slokin said in the statement that he was terminated in 2016 primarily because he was investigating Burisma Holdings, a Ukraine-based energy company that employed Biden’s son Hunter. Joe Biden has admitted to withholding a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine unless Slokin was fired, but said it was because of corruption on Slokin’s part.
The official reason given for Slokin’s firing was corruption. But isn’t it coincidental that he happened to be investigating Hunter Biden’s company?
Ukraine’s former Prime Minister, Mykola Azarov, said, “Everything that I now know about this company (Burisma), that the son of the Vice President took part in it, now explains the position that the Vice President occupied. I think an investigation is essential.”
If there’s any evidence that Joe Biden’s pressure to fire Slokin did have to do with Burisma and his son, it’s a blatant abuse of power.
