The U.S. is experiencing such tremendous economic growth under President Trump’s watch that even liberal pundit Bill Maher now admits it.
While hosting Friday’s episode of “Real Time,” Maher took exception to Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan’s gloom-and-doom take on the economy.
“Most people are still struggling to make ends me,” said Ryan, who is running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Maher challenged Ryan’s claim, then let slip perhaps more truth than intended.
“C’mon, the economy’s not horrible,” Maher said. “Four-point-four percent is the unemployment rate in Ohio. It’s kinda hard to run against the economy in Ohio, isn’t it?”
Maher continued, “Finally, wages went up. He’s the guy in the Oval Office. He’s gonna run on that.
