Anti-semitism is in the air at CNN, and the public is finding out.
Upon the discovery of anti-semitic tweets from 2011, a CNN photojournalist, Mohammed Elshamy, has resigned.
An employee of Israel’s Government Press Office flagged some of Elshamy’s offensive tweets, and he later quit.
One of the tweets referred to victims of a Jerusalem terrorist attack as “jewish pigs.”
“More than 4 jewish pigs killed in #Jerusalem today by the Palestinian bomb explode. #Israel #Gaza,” it read.
Clearly, CNN doesn’t vet its employees very well. Either that, or these are views held by CNN as well.
