Robert Mueller just broke down and confessed. What he admitted during questioning is further proof that his investigation was nothing more than an anti-Trump witch-hunt.
“Can you give me an example other than Donald Trump where the Justice Department determined that an investigated person is not exonerated because their innocence was not conclusively determined?” Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) asked Mueller.
Mueller answered that “this is a unique situation,” thereby exposing the double-standard he had for Trump when compared to any other individual being investigated.
Ratcliffe pointed to a particular line in Mueller’s report to launch his questioning, specifically the conclusion where Mueller wrote, “while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”
The Texas congressman is making the point that you always exonerate a person if it’s determined that the individual being investigated did not commit a crime — that’s how our justice system works.
Instead, Mueller played politics in an attempt to please anti-Trump Democrats; it is a total disgrace. Democrats thought they were going to get something out of Mueller’s testimony, but it’s Trump who won this round again.
