Shock: Kellyanne Conway Resignation Notice…
Kellyanne Conway has been a steadfast ally of President Trump’s and served as his official counselor since his 2016 election victory. But a resignation notice is now sending shockwaves through Washington, DC.
Despite a new petition from the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which appears to be a Democrat front group, Trump has made his position clear. “No, I’m not going to fire her,” he said.
“I think she’s a terrific person,” Trump continued. He delivered this definitive statement during an interview on ‘Fox & Friends,’ one of the few cable news programs that has generally shown fairness to him.
The petition from CREW claims that Conway violated the Hatch Act by “disparaging Democratic presidential candidates while speaking in her official capacity during television interviews and on social media.”
However, in addition to Trump sticking with Conway, the White House has called CREW’s recommendation that she resign from her post “deeply flawed.” This is yet another partisan attack on Trump and his allies.
There’s no way that President Trump would ditch one of his most loyal confidantes and advisors. Conway has a role with the president as long as she wants it, and for good reason. She’s done a great job.
