Fox News’ Chris Wallace just fell apart. It all happened on national television, and it was a disaster. The anti-Trump reporter can’t help himself anymore.
During a broadcast of ‘Fox News Sunday,’ Wallace claimed that “William Taylor was a very impressive witness and was very damaging to the president” when he testified before the House Intelligence Committee this week.
“He took very copious notes at almost every conversation,” continued Wallace. “When he put quotes in his opening statement, he said those were direct quotes from what was said.”
However, at least two Republican lawmakers were quick to point out that Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, did not have firsthand knowledge of his claims against President Trump.
“Ambassador you testified about a number of things that you heard. Isn’t it possible that the things that you heard were not true?” asked Rep. Michael Turner (R-OH). Then Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) dug even deeper.
What you heard did not happen,” said Jordan. However, Taylor defended his testimony, reportedly saying that he is only sharing information he was given and that “people make mistakes.”
