Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is in a full-blown panic. President Trump has him and the Democrats right where he wants them. It is time to watch the fireworks.
In a letter to top intelligence officials — acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire and Inspector General Michael Atkinson, respectively — Schumer claimed that Trump could expose one of the whistleblowers.
“I am concerned that he may disclose the whistleblower’s identity or cause it to be disclosed by others in the Administration,” said Schumer, attempting to publicly sound the alarm.
Schumer also wildly claimed that the “President’s ill-advised statements, his lack of respect for the rule of law and his well-documented habit of condoning violence by his supporters” precipitated his concern.
Now, Trump could very well expose one of the whistleblowers, but he may have to do that in order to protect himself and make sure the actual truth sees the light of day.
Schumer and the Democrats are waging war in secret without Pelosi even holding an impeachment vote, which has excluded Republicans from the conversation. Something has to give.
