Sarah Sanders is not happy with Nancy Pelosi after the new House Speaker said the Secret Service could not properly protect dignitaries during the State of the Union address due to the partial government shutdown.
In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Waters, Sanders called Pelosi’s act ‘shameful.’
“There’s nothing powerful about the Speaker of the House questioning the ability of the United States Secret Service who have said they have no problem protecting the president. Let’s be real clear: The Secret Service protected the president when he was in Iraq. I’m pretty sure they can handle the job on Capitol Hill,” said Sanders.
President Trump expressed his frustration as well, pulling military aircraft set to department just moments later with Pelosi and other Democrats on board for a trip some have described as a photo-op.
