For somebody who truly made a difference in the lives of others, their legacy doesn’t die when that person does.
The late, great Rush Limbaugh would, every year, tell his listeners about the “True Story of Thanksgiving” to millions of listeners.
With Limbaugh’s recent death, 2021 was America’s first year without Uncle Rush raising his soothing lips to our ears. His last rendition of the “True Story of Thanksgiving” came last year on November 24, just three months prior to his death.
During the reading, Limbaugh expressed joy that his story highlighting what REALLY happened way back in the day was catching on across America.
Now without him, families are telling it to each other:
Rest in peace, Rush. And Happy Thanksgiving.
