The only thing more ridiculous than Robert Mueller’s so-called “investigation” is the length liberals go to defend it, and now he’s received stunning news that could end this charade for good.
In an ironic twist, top Democrats are turning on Mueller out of fear that the investigation won’t turn up anything about Russia. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) said that Mueller’s probe wasn’t doing enough to go after Trump’s personal finances and business dealings aggressively, which “leaves the country exposed.”
Schiff is referring to Trump’s comment that going after his bank, Deutsche Bank, would cross a “red line,” and as such, Schiff believes it’s possible “that that red line has been enforced, whether by the deputy attorney general [Rod Rosenstein] or by some other party at the Justice Department.”
But we know what’s happening here: Mueller’s investigation, for all of its bluster and coverage in the mainstream media, hasn’t yielded a single smoking gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia. There has been no “collusion” found. So, in a last-ditch effort, Schiff and his fellow Democrats are throwing Mueller under the bus to save face. It’s over.
