In a bombshell new report, Politico revealed that Special Investigator Robert Mueller is facing a federal lawsuit – and the stakes are high. $350 million to be exact.
Mueller is being sued by author Jerome Corsi, who alleges that Mueller attempted to bully and intimidate him into making false statements. Corsi is also alleging that Mueller used illegal surveillance methods, including the NSA’s PRISM program, a digital surveillance program initially revealed by informant Edward Snowden.
Corsi is demanding $100 million in actual damages and $250 million in punitive damages.
If Mueller loses the lawsuit, and is found personally liable, he could face financial ruin, a fate that his victims, including Paul Manafort and Corsi himself, are already facing.
