John Nolte of Breitbart News isn’t one to be shy with his opinions.
According to him, Attorney General Merrick Garland is disobeying a “strikingly clear” law that makes it a crime to protest “in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge” with the intent to influence that judge.
So WHY is it okay for Jen Psaki to encourage Americans to gather outside the homes of Justices?
It is absolutely not.
The fact that we think it is is because of the incompetence of a man named Merrick Garland, who apparently has more than a little trouble with reading comprehension.
If he didn’t, he’d be able to read the below law and realize that what he’s doing right now doesn’t even come close to upholding it.
Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
