Far-left Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s real plan was just revealed. She has been completely busted and is staying silent, but the truth couldn’t be more clear.
It all started when the Michigan politician was banned from Israel over her support for the BDS movement, which seeks to do economic and political harm to Israel. She was then granted a personal visit to see her grandmother, but soon declined. Why?
Some are now saying it’s because Tlaib would have had to foot the bill for her trip instead of the taxpayers, given that it would be a personal visit and not part of a diplomatic trip with congressional colleagues.
Tlaib originally wrote, “I would like to request admittance to Israel in order to visit my relatives, and specifically my grandmother, who is in her 90s and lives in Beit Ur al-Fouqa. This could be my last opportunity to see her.”
“I will respect any restrictions and will not promote boycotts against Israel during any visit,” she added. However, she quickly reversed course and claimed that she would not go under the “oppressive conditions.”
But top congressional aides have anonymously painted a different story. Once the trip became personal in nature, Tlaib “allowing the sponsoring group to pay for anything would constitute an illegal gift.” Incredible.
