The Queen has announced that her plans to attend a service at St. George’s Chapel on April 14 were being cancelled.
Age-95 Elizabeth said that she was “regrettably” pulling out of the Easter event.
She will instead be represented by Prince Charles and Camila.
The annual event is an important date on the Royal calendar, but the Queen’s been getting up there in age, and mobility issues have been causing her more and more problems lately.
Elizabeth doesn’t want you to think she’s slacking off though, she will be holding virtual meetings by video call.
Elizabeth received a golf cart in March to help her get around, but has also missed at least one recent event because of her low “comfort.”
She’s been using a walking stick for around six months, and told reporters in February: “As you can see, I can’t move.”
