On September 14, Czech President Milos Zeman was admitted to the hospital. His office claims it was for a planned examination. However, seeing as the president’s office is a government entity there’s a good chance they were lying. It’s what governments do.
It’s looking even more likely now that there was a serious problem back on September 14, because Zeman is back in hospital AGAIN.
This comes just one day after the country held a parliamentary election in which Prime Minister Andrej Babis’ party came in second.
It should be noted that the Czech presidency is largely ceremonial, but the president DOES choose which political leader can try to form the next government.
No word as of yet on how Joe Biden reacted to the news.
