Conservative political commentator Pat Buchanan has exposed the plot against President Donald Trump as he sees it in an opinion column, “That Other Plot – To Bring Down Trump.”
Following Robert Mueller’s first indictments after a months-long investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Buchanan explains the sickening plot against the President and his attempt to make America great again.
Trump promised to “drain the swamp” — but the powerful forces within have no intention of allowing that to happen — it suits them just fine as it is. And the corruption runs deep in Washington.
The American people have made it clear — they’re sick and tired of the political games. Trump was elected because he represented hope, a hope for real change. But can he do it in the face of such strong opposition? Let’s hope so. (Read More…)
Judicial Watch is reporting that the U.S. Department of State received nearly 3000 of Huma Abedin’s work-related documents that the FBI discovered on husband Anthony Weiner’s personal laptop.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton believes that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Abedin committed a crime by using private email addresses connected to a private server to perform government business. Weiner, in the meantime, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for sexting with an underage girl.
Fitton stated, “This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials. When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”
Meanwhile, State Department recently claimed that it shouldn’t be required to process the Clinton emails because the public’s interest has “waned” since the election. Pathetic. (Read More…)
Kevin Spacey, two-time academy award winner, and star of the hit TV show House of Cards, is the latest Hollywood star to be accused of sexual assault. Actor Anthony Rapp alleged that Spacey assaulted him at the age of 14.
In the wake of the accusations, Spacey’s brother, Randall Fowler, has spoken to the media. Fowler revealed that the actor grew up with a father who not only raped family members repeatedly but was a physically abusive Nazi who railed at his children about Jews at the dinner table.
Fowler’s interview comes in the wake of accusations that Spacey has engaged in years of predatory behavior on boys in Hollywood. Spacey put out a half-apology on Twitter, claiming that if he did such a thing, he didn’t remember and must have been drunk, but stating that he was sorry for the feelings that Rapp had about it. He also used the opportunity to come out publicly as gay, a move that many saw as an exploitative distraction.
While Spacey’s upbringing doesn’t excuse his actions, it does emphasize the horrific toll that child sexual abuse takes on its victims. The number of recent accusations coming out of Hollywood is unreal. They have to get serious about preventing it before others are victimized.(Read More…)
Tony Podesta, the brother of Hillary’s former campaign manager John Podesta, announced his resignation from the Podesta Group on Monday morning after special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s began investigating the firm.
We do not yet know what the investigation into the Podesta Group will reveal, but if it was associated with the alleged Manafort-Gates criminal activity, then firm members will likely be indicted as well. Tony Podesta’s resignation is an indication that he may have had personal ties to these (or related) activities.
The Russia investigation continues. As of Monday morning, the U.S. District Court for Washington D.C. has four sealed cases on its docket, indicating that more indictments are to come. And by the way — let’s not forget those involved in the other Russian collusion scandal as this investigation is taking place. (Read More…)
Famous liberal attorney and law school professor Alan Dershowitz has warned: “Anybody who is close to Donald Trump at this point is a target.” His warning follows the news that three former advisers of Trump have been indicted in the politicized Mueller probe.
Dershowitz claims that Mueller is using Mafia-style interrogation techniques, pressuring suspects with threats of lengthy prison sentences to force them into implicating President Trump — even though Dershowitz believes that they’ll find nothing. According to this theory, Mueller hopes that harassing the little fish associated with the president will lead to the big fish himself.
Already, George Papadopoulos is said to be a “cooperating witness,” meaning that his lawyers reached a plea deal with Mueller in exchange for some sort of testimony or assistance. That’s a powerful sign that Dershowitz is right. (Watch Here…)
In an interview on Sunday, Republican Representative Trey Gowdy said Hillary Clinton and her campaign may have laundered money through a law firm to pay for the Russia-supplied dossier on then-candidate Trump.
The dossier in question makes malicious and false claims about Trump, all of which were provided to former British intelligence officer, Christopher Steele, by Russian sources that many suspect are tied to the Kremlin. Steele then provided the unverified information to Fusion GPS.
Fusion was hired by the law firm Perkins Coie to perform “opposition research” on Trump; Perkins Coie was retained by Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The scheme was purposely complex to try and protect key figures like Hillary Clinton from being implicated, but Gowdy explains, Clinton reported the payments to Perkins Coie as “legal services.”
The services that the firm was providing, however, legally required disclosure. As a result, the evidence implies that Clinton’s campaign may have violated federal election law by billing their opposition research and other activities as ‘legal services.’
Imagine that. Hillary Clinton violated federal law by operating a complex money laundering scheme. I, for one, am not surprised. It’s time that she, her campaign team, and the DNC are held accountable. Indict them. (Read More…)
