Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is on borrowed time. The 2020 election is going to see that she’s fired, and the first crucial step has been taken. President Trump is pleased.
Ahead of a crucial congressional victory for Republicans in North Carolina, Trump said that it represented “the first steps to firing Speaker Pelosi and winning back the House in 2020.” The candidate, Dan Bishop, went on to win the race.
Democrats were holding out hope that they could pull a fast one — particularly since the original Republican candidate had to drop out due to a scandal — but voters turned out and elected Bishop.
This is yet another positive sign for 2020. Democrats are throwing everything they’ve got and Trump and Republican, yet they can’t seem to make any headway. Americans are tired of doom-and-gloom liberals rooting for our nation to fail.
Our economy is stronger than ever, the job market continues to grow, American families are benefiting from tax reform, and Trump is serious about fighting illegal immigration. He brought up this strong point when campaigning for Bishop.
“Our great Republican candidate Dan Bishop will fight with everything he has to stop sanctuary cities and defend the people of this great state,” said Trump. It all paid off and now Republicans are one seat closer to ending Pelosi’s reign.
