A Fox News superstar just ended it on live television. It was an on-air shocker, and millions of people are stunned. No one expected him to make this move.
After washed-up actress Debra Messing — best known for her role in TV’s Will & Grace — called for the attendees of a Beverly Hills fundraiser for Trump to be publicly outed — Fox News host Jesse Watters dialed Messing’s cell number on air.
Watters noted that Messing recently tweeted, “We need to come together, let’s talk. Really, let’s talk,” posted Messing. So, Watters decided to take her up on the offer since she also tweeted a phone number to call.
As the phone rang, Watters said, “You can’t say you want to bring people together and then you want to blacklist people because that just hurts their families, that hurts the entire industry.”
But then Messing’s phone went to voicemail. “I’m not going to be listening to this because I’m only going to be reading your texts, so please text me,” said the message. Watters made the point that this is nothing more than hypocrisy and “a scam.”
Messing’s call to blacklist Hollywood supporters of Trump met criticism from none other than Whoopi Goldberg. Referrencing McCarthyism, she said, “The last time people did this, people ended up killing themselves. This is not a good idea, OK?”
