Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) just fled the scene before thousands of people. The stunt she pulled in public didn’t go unnoticed, and she’s being called out. She could be done for good.
During the National Puerto Rican Day Parade in Manhattan, Ocasio-Cortez “ran away” from a potential Republican opponent after he tried speaking to her. Perhaps it was the challenge he issued.
“I tried to politely introduce myself to @RepAOC at the Puerto Rican parade where we were both marching, hoping to invite her to debate the issues, but she ran away,” tweeted Rich Valdez, who may run against her in 2020.
“She literally ran!” he continued, recounting his brief interaction with Ocasio-Cortez who “cut her handshaking short, jerked her hand back and jetted to the other side of the street.”
If Ocasio-Cortez can’t have a civil conversation in public with one of her potential Republican challengers, she’s truly a thin-skilled politician — on top of being radically wrong and anti-American.
Ocasio-Cortez’s constituents continue to learn that she’s simply unfit to serve in Congress. With a well-liked, well-funded opponent, she’ll be in serious danger of losing her seat after just one term.
