Devin Nunes, House Intelligence Committee chairman, has revealed that a trove of documents and information relating to potential FBI misconduct has yet to be declassified.
Nunes stated that the documents relate to the FBI’s withholding of information from the FISA court.
Nunes and outgoing House majority leader Paul Ryan have been working with the DOJ to declassify the documents, but according to Nunes, the DOJ has redacted large portions of them.
It’s time for the FBI to be fully transparent about what exactly they told the FISA court, especially with regards to their surveillance of Trump aides during the 2016 campaign.
