Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just said goodbye. This announcement proves she’s completely finished; there’s no way to salvage her political career now.
In yet another partisan move, Speaker Pelosi rejected the Senate’s bipartisan border funding bill, a top priority for President Trump’s plan to reign in illegal immigration. But then she made another catastrophic decision.

Reps. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) were, unsurprisingly, the most publicly vocal critics of Pelosi’s move. Ocasio-Cortez said, “I do not believe we should be throwing more money to ICE.”
Omar was equally as hysterical, saying that voting for the bill is akin to “a vote to keep kids in cages and terrorize immigrant communities.” But moderate Democrats got to Pelosi, and the bill is heading to Trump’s desk. This defeat has sealed her fate as Speaker of the House.
