Everyone – even Democrats – seem to know that Nancy Pelosi is losing. Everyone except for her that is.
She’s losing power, competency, respect, and whatever else you can think of. Seemingly all at once.
While Joe and Kamala are busy bungling the Afghanistan situation and failing at the border, Nancy Pelosi is putting quite a lot of energy in ruining the economy. So much, in fact, that even Democrats are having to step in and tell Nancy that her vile “strongarm” tactics on this “infrastructure bill” are unacceptable.
Representatives Carolyn Bourdeaux, a Democrat from Georgia; Ed Case, a Democrat from Hawaii; Jim Costa, a Democrat from California; Henry Cuellar, a Democrat from Texas; Jared Golden, a Democrat from Maine; Vicente Goncalez, a Democrat from Texas, Josh Gottheimer, a Democrat from New Jersey; Kurt Shrader, a Democrat from Oregon; Filemon Vela, a Democrat from Florida; and Stephanie Murphy, a Democrat from Florida are among those on the left who think Pelosi has gone to far.
You can read Representative Murphy’s op-ed about Pelosi’s missteps below.
The Senate passed a popular, bipartisan infrastructure bill negotiated by the President. It’s now before the House, but being unnecessarily delayed. I’ll vote to start reconciliation, but only if we finish our work on infrastructure.
