The Democrats’ world is crumbling before their very eyes. This Mueller reversal notice has them worried more than ever before. It looks like their political game is finally about to end.
According to investigative reporter John Solomon in a piece for The Hill, the FBI and Mueller’s team were “warned repeatedly” that the information gathered to prosecute Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, is likely fake.
Should this turn out to actually be true, Manafort’s conviction could be reversed — delivering yet another blow to the Democrats’ failed witch-hunt against Trump and his campaign associates.
Solomon makes his case convincingly. He writes that while the now-infamous ‘Steele dossier’ is the most well know, a suspicious document know as the ‘black cash ledger’ was used to go after Manafort.
However, Solomon notes that Nazar Kholodnytsky, the top anti-corruption official for Ukraine, told him that the ledger “was not authenticated. And at that time it should not be used in any way to bring accusations against anybody.”
Kholodnytsky recalled telling this to the FBI as well, yet the agents he spoke to allegedly did not listen. Manafort’s business partner, Konstantin Kilimnik, said very much the same thing, and he’s a trusted State Department informant.
