Bestselling author Michael Wolff’s new book, set to release on June 4, claims that Mueller drafted a three-count indictment against President Trump and he has the documents to prove it.
In his new book, ‘Siege,’ he writes that his claim is “based on internal documents given to me by sources close to the Office of the Special Counsel.” But Mueller himself says this is false.
Peter Carr, Mueller’s spokesman, said in response to Wolff’s book that “the documents described do not exist,” an interesting way to frame it indeed.
One has to wonder what “do not exist” actually means. Did Mueller’s team destroy the internal documents that Wolff claims are in his possession?
One thing is certain: ‘Siege’ is likely to fly off the shelves based upon this bombshell alone. Wolff’s previous book, ‘Fire & Fury,’ sold nearly five million copies.
