As if we didn’t have enough reason to dislike General Mark Milley enough, he just placed the final nail in his own coffin.
On September 28, Milley confirmed that he spent a decent amount of time sabotaging Donald Trump.
With Senator Marsha Blackburn, a republican from Tennessee, questioning him, Milley confirmed that he leaked extensive details to at least four writers for various books, one of which being Bob Woodward of Watergate fame.
Milley is one of the key source’s for Woodward’s book, Peril, detailing Milley’s frustration with Trump and his staff’s handling of the 2020 summer riots.
Worst of all, Milley doesn’t even care to make sure that (his version of) the truth is actually what’s being printed in these books! Marsha Blackburn asked him if the things published in these books quoting Milley were true, but all Milley said was “I haven’t read any of the books so I don’t know.”
“Let’s have you read the books and then let us know if you are accurately presented and portrayed,” Blackburn responded.
“Absolutely, happy to do that,” Milley said.
I didn’t know he could read either.
