In the lead up to President Trump’s Tuesday address regarding the Mexican border crisis, the mainstream media fought hard to condition viewers to disbelieve his warnings.
But with one offhand reply to ABC News’ Jon Karl, Vice President Mike Pence revealed why it’s actually the media itself that Americans can’t believe.
“How can the American people trust the president when he says this is a crisis, when he says things over and over again that aren’t true?” Karl asked.
“Well, look, the American people aren’t as concerned about the political debate as they are concerned about what’s really happening at the border,” Pence responded.
In other words, Americans don’t need Jon Karl to parse fact from fiction when a true national security crisis is spilling across our own back yards.
