Trump talks tough and knows when to fight, but he also knows how to make deals.
“The White House on Saturday outlined a $50 billion Middle East economic plan that would create a global investment fund to lift the Palestinian and neighboring Arab state economies, and fund a $5 billion transportation corridor to connect the West Bank and Gaza.”
This is a major move and could do a lot of good in the Middle East, as opposed to billions spent in war.
“The Trump administration is no less committed to peace than its predecessors. The key difference is that Trump does not feel tied down by the unsuccessful formulas of the past, and he and his team are willing to openly challenge that conventional thinking.”
Trump is known for creative dealmaking, and that is why he was elected.
After all, he brought peace to the Korean peninsula, so if anyone can bring peace to the Middle East, it’s him.
