Like her husband, former First Lady Michelle Obama refuses to stay out of the spotlight. She can’t stand that they’re no longer relevant, and she just made a sick ‘presidential announcement’ proving this very fact.
In an interview with talk show host Conan O’Brien on his podcast, Obama took multiple, passive-aggressive jabs at President Trump. Speaking about the demands of the presidency, she said, “It’s not a reality show, it’s real-life stuff.”
Obama continued: “This is a really hard job, and it’s serious, and it requires a level of knowledge, of history and patience, and you have to be a reader, and you have to be someone that can handle stress, and you have to watch your words.”
The honest truth is the Obamas cannot accept that Donald Trump beat their anointed candidate, Hillary Clinton. Democratic Party powerbrokers are still in denial about what happened in 2016 and they’re going to be shocked again in 2020.
This time, after Trump wins a landslide re-election victory against whoever the Obamas endorse, Michelle won’t be able to hide behind her shallow, petty criticisms any longer. She’ll see that Americans simply aren’t with her.
But in the meantime, she’s going to get in as many digs as she can. “I mean, we live in a time, ‘tell it like it is,’ and it’s like, not when your words can start wars and shift markets. There’s a responsibility to be careful with them,” Obama said.
