Michelle Obama Gives Notice… She’s Announcing
Former First Lady Michelle Obama just gave notice to the country — she has made a major announcement. People are stunned by this news.
Obama has ramped up her public visibility as of late, which started with a book tour. Now she’s announcing another tour with ticket prices up to $4,200 a seat, leaving some to wonder if she’s running for president.
The $4,200 will get someone a suit-level seat and presumably a “meet and greet,” considering $2,500 will also come with getting to meet her face-to-face. Floor seats are as high as $1,300, while the lowest priced ticket is reportedly $144.
This tour stop will take place in Newark, New Jersey, at the Prudential Center, which holds 19,500 people. The event is called “A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama,” according to the arena’s website.
Rumors have swirled recently about what all of this touring means, with some speculating that it’s just a matter of time before she announces her presidential campaign. Democrats believe she would become the immediate frontrunner.
Furthermore, there seems to be discontent within the rank-and-file of the Democratic Party with the current crop of candidates. Many are distancing themselves from former Vice President Joe Biden, while Sen. Bernie Sanders is seen as unelectable.
