Ever since she was unceremoniously fired by NBC for some questionable commentary several months ago, former top media star Megyn Kelly has been locked in negotiations with the network to figure out how much of her remaining contract with them would be paid out.
It was recently announced that the network had agreed to pay out all of the remainder of the reported $69 million three-year contract.
NBC said simply in a statement, “The parties have resolved their differences, and Megyn Kelly is no longer an employee of NBC.”
Furthermore, it was reported that there wasn’t a “non-compete” clause in her contract or the negotiated agreement, meaning Kelly could immediately begin work with another news network … assuming any would take the chance of hiring her.
