Former Fox News and NBC host Megyn Kelly called out comedian Sarah Silverman for a shockingly vulgar assault on President Trump.
Kelly responded to Silverman’s sexually explicit tirade by insinuating that such behavior seemed particularly inappropriate coming from a celebrity associated with children’s movies.
“This woman wants to star in children’s movies produced by Disney. (And just did, in Ralph Breaks the Internet.),” Kelly tweeted.
Silverman recently reprized her role as a voice actor for Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph franchise, but her involvement in children’s entertainment doesn’t seem to have dampened her enthusiasm for locker-room level social commentary, such as when she joked about semen, sexual assault and abortion at a New York City charity event for children.
In other words, shamelessness is her schtick, and she’s sticking to it — especially so long as she continues to be protected by fellow actors such as Olivia Wilde, who assures us that Silverman is “a brilliant, badass feminist with more curiosity and compassion than most of us combined.”
