In a strong political play, Senator John McCain is threatening to hold up Trump administration defense nominations because he wants answers about recent policy changes which allow Army recruits with a history of mental health disorders to enlist with a waiver.
McCain may have some legitimate concerns about Army policy, but holding important nominees hostage to his political whims is unacceptable. McCain doesn’t seem to realize that America’s national security interests are more important than his own attention-seeking and grandstanding.
This is not the first time McCain has played this political game. He needs to retire. (Read More…)
Republican Newt Gingrich was recently interviewed about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ potential probe into Hillary Clinton’s many scandals. Gingrich was blunt and to-the-point: “I think that she’s had a 40-year history of breaking the law, enriching herself and lying about it.”
Hillary’s list of scandals and corruption are too vast to include in one story. She has evaded the law for years and it is time for justice to be served for the most corrupt politician in U.S. history. (Read More…)
A “creep list” has been created by women in Washington DC that includes politicians, aides, and employees on Capitol Hill.
According to reports, approximately fifty women have come forward with allegations. There are even claims of a “sex trade on Capitol Hill.”
For years, women were afraid to come forward for fear of shaming, threats, and being silenced. Following the Weinstein scandal and the #metoo movement, women are opening up and being heard. Former Massachusetts Governor and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney is back in the news. Sources are claiming that Romney will seek a Utah Senate seat in the 2018 election.

Following the exposure of GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore’s sex scandals, the most striking feature of Moore’s defense has been the weakness of his explanations. Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson put Moore on blast, stating: “[He’s] claiming to be a victim of bigotry. … That’s what Al Sharpton does.”
Carlson continued, “Roy Moore has every right to protest his innocence… What he’s not allowed to do is [to] drag God into all of this. God is not accused of trolling for teenagers in shopping malls. This is not about Christianity, this is about Roy Moore.”
Moore’s equivocating and using his faith as a shield are why his base is abandoning him. Some are even calling for his expulsion if he wins the election. It is time for Moore to step aside. (Read More…)
As allegations mount, Alabama Republican Senate hopeful Roy Moore’s hopes are fading. Reports have surfaced that claim he was banned from a local mall for harassing and propositioning teenage girls back in the 1980s.
Add to this the six women coming forward with allegations. And now, a local independent journalist, Glynn Wilson, has also alleged that Moore was banned from the local YMCA for “soliciting sex from young girls.”
Moore is in a high-stakes Senate race, not a court of law. He’s subject to the court of public opinion, and he’s looking more guilty each day. Moore needs to drop out of the race immediately. (Read More…)
